Portfolio > Start Together, Chicago Artist Coalition 2016

In the exhibition, Start Together, I feature a labyrinth constructed with lumber and the orange construction fencing that litters Chicago’s west side and created a mini-bookstore of zines, posters, and newspapers that grapple with the disinvested communities, development and displacement. Visitors walk through a dizzying maze patterned with orange construction fencing to reach the bookstore. The items are sold on sliding scales and the money then is donated to For the People Artists Collective.
